We do offer a Wholesale and Designer Discount Program. The discount is 30% OFF MSRP FOR EVERYTHING IN OUR STORE OR ON OUR WEBSITE. Please contact us for more information.
Custom sizes are 7 cents a square inch. In most cases, it is cheaper to buy the next size up in our standard sizes offered. We can do any color combination that is requested, up to three colors. There is no extra charge for custom colors. Custom orders are not returnable.
Our fabric is colorfast. If you must wash it - hand-wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. Please keep in mind that while our fabric is colorfast - most floss is not and bleeding from the floss may occur.
Shipping is free anywhere in the United States. International buyers must pay all shipping, import fees and taxes. Items will be sent via First Class or Priority Mail depending on the size of the package. A tracking number will be provided. All fabric is shipped ROLLED rather than folded.
Our shipping time varies depending on how busy we are. Our fabric is dyed to order and the processing time can be anywhere from 2-10 business days. We try to ship as quickly as possible and most orders ship within 3 days. If we are very busy (usually before holidays and after trade shows) I will update the shipping to reflect the delay. Please contact us if you are concerned about the actual shipping time and we will give you a more accurate time frame.
Our fabric is cut to size and then dyed individually. No two pieces will look the same. Shrinkage is 1/4 to 1/2 inch on width and length. Our fabric is wrinkle free and ships rolled.
Each listing includes a DMC reference number and a description of the color. Please use this information when choosing fabric. Computer monitors do not accurately reflect color. When in doubt please contact us.
We offer two effects-Traditional (T) and Solid (S). The traditional effect is either a light and dark version of one color or a combination of 2-3 colors. These pieces typically have moderate to heavy shading, mottling and speckling. The solid effect is two layers of one color. Pieces done in this manner have subtle shading and a more solid appearance.
We do offer samples of each color. They are approximately 3x5 inches and are only available in 14 count. They are $2.00 each and are available for purchase in the sample section. Please keep in mind that this is a sample only and you will be ordering a much larger piece. Samples may not accurately reflect shading, mottling, veining, etc. Larger pieces may be lighter or darker. Typically in 16 and 18 count Aida colors are slightly lighter.
The entire sample book (of all our colors) may also be purchased. See listing.
For those not familiar with hand-dyed Aida - our prices may seem high. However, they do reflect the industry standards. And remember shipping is always free on all our designs and fabric when shipped within the United States. As reflected in our reviews and by our five star rating - we offer an exceptional product of high quality in beautiful colors that is packaged and shipped rolled instead of folded. As my late father-in-law was known to say, "Quality is not expensive, it's priceless." Considering the hours of hard work you will put into stitching a design - it's worth starting with a quality product.
